Edgar was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to Miami at the age of 3, where he spent the next 16 years of his life until he graduated highschool and moved away for college. Edgar’s love for sport and competition began at an early age. He initially satiated his competitive nature with Taekwondo, earning a 1st degree black belt and multiple gold medals in various sparring tournaments growing up. After a number of years, his competitive focus was shifted towards soccer. Edgar played soccer for Florida State University, where he earned his B.S. in Physical Science before playing professionally in Costa Rica’s 3rd division in 2022.
Outside of sport, Edgar enjoys listening to music, being outside in nature, and cooking (as well as eating). Edgar’s fitness goals are specifically oriented for soccer, with an enhanced emphasis on longevity, injury prevention, and functionality. Edgar is currently living in Madrid, Spain, where he’s continuing to pursue his life’s greatest passion: Soccer.
